Daviess Community Hospital offers a full range of medical and health service to the community. Staffed by 385 professinals, the hospital meets the health care needs of the residents of Daviess and surrounding Martin and Pike counties. The hospital has experienced significant growth in the past few years and has recently completed a $19 million expansion project. The hospital's medical staff includes board certified family physicians as well as a wide range of specialists, ready to meet the primary and secondary health care needs of the community. There are approximately 30 physicians and 10 dentists in Daviess County. Also are 2 ambulance services, 6 nursing home facilities, 2 home health agencies and 1 assisted living center.
